SRN Researchers make up a Network of independent business owners who provide on-demand market, business, and company research in the form of business intelligence to various clients. The Network was formed to act as a support and revenue generating system for Researchers to call upon when needed. Strategic Research Network is at the forefront, distributing large projects throughout the Network and in turn, helping Researchers with projects that are too large for them to handle on their own.

To capitalize on the “network business model”, SRN developed its “Subcontracting Portal” to enable new and existing SRN Researchers to subcontract work to the Network through SRN. The Subcontracting Portal puts new Researchers in a position to get their feet wet and complete research work on paid projects, while established Researchers can contract extra work through the network.

For a new Researcher, the Portal can eliminate the hardest obstacle for a new business - landing contracts. The Subcontracting Portal is extremely beneficial to their business start-up, providing the ability to start the business, initiating marketing efforts, and build clientele, while learning how to fulfill projects at the same time. Today, the new Researcher can simultaneously build their own initial clientele while brining in revenue working on the projects of others.

Established Researchers see a benefit from the Portal as well, using it as an outlet to even out their workload. When they have too many projects they can turn to the Portal and subcontract the extra workload. Also, when a Researcher works with a larger client directly, SRN and members of the Network are available to back up that Researcher so the project can be completed quickly and efficiently.

Recently a large candidate sourcing project was distributed through the Subcontracting Portal. The contract was with a large recruiting company on a high dollar sourcing project with a substantial retainer. The client needed a list of screened and qualified candidates to fill over thirty (30) positions within a short time period. The project consisted of locating, screening and qualifying 15,000 plus potential candidates in a matter of one week.

Through the Subcontracting Portal, a team of SRN Researchers completed the candidate sourcing work and delivered the requested list of prescreened and qualified candidates to the client. The recruiting firm was then able to do what they do best – recruit the qualified candidates and fill the open positions.

In the end, the SRN Subcontracting Portal benefited all parties. It enabled the recruiting company client to complete their task of filling the needed positions while SRN and the Researchers involved generated substantial revenue.

From the start, the vision of SRN has been to function as a marketing channel for its Researchers. The Subcontracting Portal allows both SRN and our Researchers to profit from collaborative projects.
